Calamarata Cappelli is produced with flour obtained from the milling of Senatore Cappelli durum wheat, a fine variety of wheat, selected in 1915 by the agronomist Nazareno Strampelli. This wheat, grown exclusively in the hinterland of Lecce, represents the excellence of Salento, dedicated to Senator Raffaele Cappelli, promoter of the first agrarian reform.

Description
Calamarata Cappelli is handcrafted with Senatore Cappelli wheat flour, an ancient and precious grain. The grain is milled without degermination, to keep intact all the nutritional qualities of the germ, rich in vitamin E and unsaturated fats with antioxidant properties. This pasta is perfect for rich, full-bodied dishes. We recommend seasoning it with seafood sauce, fresh calamari and cherry tomatoes, or with a fish ragù, to enhance the authentic flavour of the wheat. For better preservation, it is recommended to keep it in the refrigerator.
